Hi All
Ahead of the start of this years league, just a couple of things:
Attached is the team sheet for you to complete and email to the organising club ahead of the gala.
The team list should be completed and handed to the recording desk on the night
Each club attending the gala are responsible for bringing their own pre populated timing slips, a template for these is available on the league website (and is attached to this email)
Please note the following from the league rules:
Each competing team must bring 1 Judge and 2 Timekeepers to ALL venues. One Timekeeper from each Club will act as Timekeeper on the lane drawn by his/her own Club, the other timekeeper will move to another lane at the direction of the Referee/Chief Timekeeper
Programmes are available for spectators to download from the league website, the organising club is responsible for the printing of programmes for officials only or they make ask you all to print a few copies each and bring with you.
Please help & support the organising club as much as possible so that the gala can run smoothly and please respond promptly to any emails they send.
Relay takeovers reminder:
The swimmer must not enter the water until the swimmer before them has entered the water.
The swimmer in the water needs to hold the end of the pool with one hand.
They cannot let go until the swimmer coming in has touched the wall.
If the swimmer lets go of the wall before the incoming swimmer touches the wall they will be disqualified.
Please take note of warm up and gala start times as some are different – the times are governed by the pool & their staffing arrangements and we are are unable to do anything about this.
Spectator costs as below (&agreed at AGM)
Adults £4.00
Concessions £2.00
Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) £10, extra children £2 each
Raffle remains at £1 a strip – tickets are pulled out singly..
